WE WEBCASTS | IMPACT OF LIQUIDITY, TAX AND REGULATION WHEN USING ETFs: A VIEW FROM EUROPE

ETFs are booming. Assets in the global ETF and ETP industry are likely to overtake those in hedge funds in the second quarter, according to EFTGI. Institutional and retail investors are drawn to the cost efficiency and daily liquidity. ETFs are increasingly being used by intermediaries in Europe as a tool to implement asset allocation.

The panelists in the Women in ETFs webcast discuss:

  • Understanding fixed income ETF liquidity versus the liquidity of the underlying bonds;
  • Examining the growth of the European ETF market in Europe;
  • Analyzing what ETF providers can do to increase awareness, ensure liquidity and tighten bid-ask spreads;
  • The impact of tax and regulations on the use of ETFs.
