About the instructor: Lydia did her first yoga class in the Himalayas when she was a little girl and loved it. Yoga has been a life-long pursuit, but to give her a greater understanding of how the body works, and why it sometimes doesn’t, Lydia has also trained as a Bowen therapist and completed a diploma in physiology and anatomy.  Lydia has worked with women, children and babies for over 20 years now in a variety of capacities : from orphanages, to special needs assistant, working as a super nanny, pregnancy and birth coach and even developing and teaching her own children’s yoga teacher training program. She has also developed a yoga for your classroom series that she teaches in schools around the country to train primary school teachers how to deal with emotional and self regulatory issues in the classroom to make it a more friendly place for everyone. Lydia passionately believes in the power of yoga as a tool for strengthening both body and mind; leading the way to a more balanced and healthy life.
