New York, NY (May 12, 2023) – Women in ETFs, Inc., (WE) appoints four new directors to its U.S. Board: Michelle Shanley, Global Head of Strategic and Key Accounts at MSCI, effective April 27, 2023 and Allison Fumai, Partner at Dechert LLP, Elisabeth Kashner, CFA, Vice President and Director of Global Funds Research and Analytics at FactSet Research Systems and Joy Yang, Head of Product Management and Marketing at MarketVector Indexes GmbH, effective January 1, 2023.

WE’s U.S. Board of Directors is comprised of senior leaders from the ETF ecosystem who are passionate about WE’s mission and who have been key contributors to the organization. The Board’s responsibility is to provide strategic guidance and oversight for the ongoing operations of WE U.S. as well as to raise awareness of WE’s mission. Two US Board directors will transition to the Women in ETFs Emeritus Board: Joanne Hill, Chief Advisor for Research and Strategy at Cboe Vest and Diana Tidd, Workiva ESG Advisory Council Member, and former Global Head of Index at MSCI. They are joined by Sue Thompson, Executive Vice President, Head of SPDR Americas Distribution at State Street Global Advisors and Jill Mavro, Independent Trustee, BNY Mellon ETFs who joined the WE Emeritus Board in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
